Millwall FC join in on the fun!

A welcome surprise for the attendees at the Annual Insurance Charity Golf Day was the arrival of the Millwall Football team and their staff, who were staying at the Stoke-By-Nayland Golf Club before their match on Saturday against nearby Ipswich Town.

Manager Steve Lomas, Assistant Manager Mick Harford, Goalkeeping Coach Kevin Pressman and the rest of the backroom staff joined the Cancer Research representatives on the practice putting green to showcase their golfing talents. Although initially unsuccessful, the competitive nature of professional sportsmen meant they wouldn’t be defeated and eventually they started to find their range! We would like to thank Steve and his team for taking time out to pose for a couple of pictures and help raise the awareness of Cancer Research UK on the day.

Total Objects proud to partner 24th Annual Insurance Charity Golf Day.

Total Objects were proud corporate sponsors of the Annual Insurance Charity Golf Day for the 2nd year running. Once again the event proved incredibly successful for both Cancer Research UK and the participating members from the Insurance and Reinsurance Market who took time out of their busy schedules to turn out for a great cause.

Paul Evans Director at Total Objects commented that ‘’For a truly successful event it needs to be well organised, well attended, fun and for a worthy cause. I’m pleased to say the Golf Day ticked all these boxes. Having an industry event of this nature enables trading partners to connect on a social level with charitable values. Cancer Research UK is a charity close to my heart as Cancer unfortunately took my grandfather but I’m please to say due to early diagnosis, my father is now in remission! This charity has made significant inroads and is one of the few professions who on a daily basis ‘save lives
Next year is the 25th Anniversary of the Golf Day so we are looking at ways to celebrate this milestone in style. ‘’

Total Objects’ partnership will continue into 2014 and for the landmark 25th Year of the event. And to mark this special event we have some special events in the planning that will give the 25th Anniversary a unique twist! Client Testimonials

"The fact that so many teams and individuals of varying abilities came out to support the event goes a long way to illustrating how many good souls there are in our industry. So far we have all raised £12,500 for Cancer Research UK and we are hoping that we will continue to put money in the coffers of a charity that is close to our hearts.”
Paul Hopkins.
