Advance International Help Support Cancer Research at 25th Annual Insurance Golf day

As part of the ‘sponsor a hole’ initiative in the build up to the 25th Annual Insurance Charity Golf day, Advance International kindly signed up as a ‘premier partner’ to help support Cancer Research UK.

This generous support has helped raise the profile of the event once again, ensuring that the 25th Anniversary of this event was marked in style by being a record breaking year in terms of money raised. And we thank Advance International for helping us achieve this milestone.

Managing Director, Total Objects, Jim Barry commented on the fantastic support from Advance International and how it is crucial to find new ways of increasing fundraising:

‘We wanted to make the 25th Anniversary of this event live long with those who attended, and hopefully we have managed to achieve that with the aerobatic show and increased pre and post event activities. The support we have received from various companies including Advance International has been fantastic, and my personal gratitude goes out to them for ensuring a record amount has been raised for Cancer Research UK. We saw at first hand the impact of this terrible disease as our Deputy Chairman, Kevin Collins, sadly passed away earlier this year so we are more determined than ever to help the fight against cancer’.

However our fundraising efforts aren’t going to finish here, and we encourage you to enter our Just Giving Giveaway where with a minimum £10 donation you have the chance to win a selection of fantastic prizes including a Ski Holiday to Austria and an executive box for 6 people to watch a Premier League match.

Client Testimonials

"The fact that so many teams and individuals of varying abilities came out to support the event goes a long way to illustrating how many good souls there are in our industry. So far we have all raised £12,500 for Cancer Research UK and we are hoping that we will continue to put money in the coffers of a charity that is close to our hearts.”
